The lonely rantings of a former looser trying to make it through life the best he can. Am I crazy? Maybe a little? Am I bad? I really don't think so. Maybe I'm just me and really that's all that people should expect.

I'm a lesser person and therefore I must contribute more to be treated with equal respect. Which leads to less respect. Seems like circular logic to me.

What happened to we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all (wo/)men are created equal and blah blah blah?
Being a more miserable person, a more apathetic person, a person who has less motivation - none of that makes someone a LESSER person. We all have different strengths and weaknesses to do with what we can, and anyone worth their salt will respect all human beings on the basis of their humanity, not some bogus ideas around social standing, material wealth, "achievement"... none of that's real. The only people not deserving of respect are those who deny others respect because of such things, in my humble opinion at least...
